Love defined
For ever a dark valentine

A heart in pain
Will continue to bloom
In till Faint
The petals once evolved
Will fall releasing rage
Letting go of sorrow and hate

All that’s left in love and fear
IS a sense of losing
All that may be dear

Love tends so many things
It brings warmth through delicate kisses
Adventurous romance that knows no bounds
And tender patience within eternity’s stare

For a man this brings fear
Hiding, masking itself behind worries of a caressing kind
Thoughts are of insecurity are pondered following an insane rhyme
Will she leave me?
Why me?
Did I push too hard?
And is there time?

Then, and do not blame
Rationality sets in
When the emotion is pushed aside
